A9: This is a good question, but unfortunately, the short answer is YES. Since MP3 is a lossy audio format, converting any audio formats (e.g. WAV) to MP3 is a quality-loss process, but with the build-in Lame MP3 encoder, the encoded MP3 files sound like a faithful reproduction of the original WAV music collections to most listeners.
